Discover the beauty and diversity of five distinctive Dendrobium orchid species in one carefully selected OrchidZone collection.

This collection brings together Dendrobium aphyllum, Dendrobium nobile, Dendrobium densiflorum, Dendrobium fimbriatum and Dendrobium anceps — five species with different growth forms, flowering characteristics and natural fragrance profiles.

Each orchid is supplied as a mature-size, healthy, properly rooted and well-established plant, individually mounted on its own terracotta orchid plate.

🌿 5 Distinct Dendrobium Species

• Dendrobium aphyllum — graceful, pendulous canes with fragrant flowers and a delicate violet-like floral scent.

• Dendrobium nobile — a well-known species valued for its beautiful flowers and sweet floral fragrance.

• Dendrobium densiflorum — famous for its spectacular hanging clusters of densely packed flowers and distinctive honey-like fragrance.

• Dendrobium fimbriatum — a striking species with long canes, attractive flowers and a distinctive fragrance that can vary in character.

• Dendrobium anceps — a fascinating species with flattened, zig-zag canes and an unusual apple-pie-like fragrance, particularly noticeable in the morning.

Fragrance intensity naturally varies with flowering stage, temperature, time of day and growing conditions.

🌱 Healthy, Well-Rooted & Established Plants — Individually Mounted on Terracotta Plates

At OrchidZone, we focus on providing healthy, properly rooted and well-established plants, rather than very small starter pieces.

All five Dendrobiums are supplied as mature-size plants, individually mounted on terracotta orchid plates. Each plant is carefully selected and prepared before dispatch, with attention to its overall health, root development and growth.

The terracotta-mounted format provides an open growing setup with good air exposure around the roots and gives each orchid a natural, attractive presentation. Terracotta is porous and allows moisture to escape more readily, so mounted orchids need watering according to the growing environment.

You receive 5 healthy, well-rooted Dendrobium plants + 5 individual terracotta orchid plates.

Please note: Plants are supplied without flowers.

☀️ Simple Dendrobium Care

• Light: Provide bright, filtered light and protect the plants from harsh midday or afternoon sun.

• Water: Water thoroughly during active growth and allow the mounted plant to dry appropriately between watering.

• Airflow: Maintain good air circulation around the plants.

• Humidity: Provide suitable humidity while avoiding constantly wet conditions.

• Seasonal care: Some Dendrobiums, particularly nobile-type plants, naturally have a resting period and need reduced watering during that stage.

Because these orchids are mounted, they can dry faster than conventional potted orchids, especially in hot or dry weather. Adjust watering according to your local conditions.
